YT-892 is a universal USB2.0 to RS485/422 converter that uses FTDI chips internally and is compatible with USB2.0 and RS-485 standards. It can convert single ended USB signals into balanced differential RS-485/422 signals, providing 600W surge protection per line to cope with surge voltages generated by various reasons on the line. The extremely small interpole capacitance ensures high-speed transmission of the RS485 interface, The RS-485/422 end is connected through a crimping terminal connector. The converter is equipped with zero delay automatic transmission and conversion, and its unique I/O circuit automatically controls the direction of data flow. It can achieve half duplex (RS-485) or full duplex (RS-422) mode conversion without the need for any handshake signals such as RTS and DTR jumper settings, ensuring plug and play compatibility with all existing communication software and interface hardware. The YT-892 interface converter can provide reliable connections for point-to-point and point-to-multipoint communication. Each point-to-multipoint converter can connect 32 RS-485 interface devices, with a data communication rate of 300-11500bps and a supported communication method of USB2.0 to RS-485/422 conversion.
